Back-to- Work Job Readiness Series

The COVID19 pandemic disrupted America’s workforce in a devastating way, the country is still reeling from the economic aftershock of work stoppages nationally and worldwide.  As of September 2021, there were 7.67 million unemployed Americans.  Employers are scrambling trying to fill jobs with qualified workers. In an effort to help local unemployed residents find work, Senator Tim Kearney, in partnership with Temple University Lenfest North Philadelphia Workforce Initiative, will host a special “Back-To-Work Job Readiness Series!” – November 4, 11, 18, 2021, 6pm-7pm, via Zoom. 

This job readiness event is a series of virtual workforce readiness seminars that are FREE to the general public.

Some job seekers are a little rusty and stressed having to create an effective resume; many job seekers are petrified preparing for interviews; and searching for a job is extremely intimidating for certain job seekers.  The Back-To-Work Job Readiness Series! is designed to equip job seekers with the skills, techniques and information to become more confident, strategic, and successful competing for employment.
