MEDIA, PA – May 4, 2023 – Senator Tim Kearney (D–Delaware) and state Representative Jennifer O’Mara (D–Delaware), in partnership with Compeer of Suburban Philadelphia, will host a Veterans Bowling Night event from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. on May 18 at Sproul Lanes in Springfield, PA.
Local veterans and their families are invited to come out for an evening of free fun and great conversation with their elected officials. Several organizations that offer veteran-specific resources and services will also be at the event.
“We owe our veterans a debt of gratitude that can never be fully repaid,” said Senator Kearney. “Hosting this veterans’ bowling event is just a small way of showing our appreciation for their services and sacrifice. It’s an opportunity for us to come together as a community, have some fun, and honor those who have given so much for our country.”
“I appreciate this partnership with Senator Kearney and Compeer that allows us to offer a free and fun night out for our communities’ veterans,” said Rep. O’Mara. “As the wife of a veteran, I personally know the sacrifices that accompany serving and the struggles many face when they return home. No one deserves a free night of fun more than our veterans.”
Pizza, water, and soda will be served to guests. This event is free, but registration is required.
